Gary Cooper A.

Also known as Gary Andrews, Gary Cooper was from Portage La Prairie Manitoba. Before becoming a singer, he was a shoe salesmen. His records feature Gerry Peterson, Randy Bachman and The Triads. Randy Bachman later recalled in his show ‘Vinyl Tap’ that Gary Cooper was a lot like Elvis and drove a white 1959 Ford Galaxie. In 1961 he appeared on the very first episode of CJAY TV’s Teen Dance Party (local dance show) back when it was hosted by PJ the DJ.
