Eternal Triangle

A fleeting collaboration of three top Vancouver, BC recording artists - Tom Northcott, Howie Vickers (lead singer of The Collectors), and Susan Pesklevitz (later of The Poppy Family) - The Eternal Triangle cut two songs in 1967 ("It's True" b/w "Watch Me Go") for a weekly TV show entitled, Let's Go. Both tunes were released as a single on the Syndrome label - the 45 was then repressed on Northcott's New Syndrome label with "My New Love" as the new B-side. With crisp percussive chords keeping the beat, "My New Love" is dark folk-rock echoing the sounds of San Francisco the summer before - more Mystery Trend than Vejtables. The track appears on The History of Vancouver Rock and Roll, Volume 4 (VRCA 004; 1991).
