The Action found brief success in the late '70s as one of this country's premier punk rock acts but their career was short lived and they disbanded before they could release a full-length. Showing obvious influences from the Rolling Stones, the Vibrators and even the Allman Brothers, the band showcase their blues chops and penchant for snot nosed flare on the quintessential "T.V.'s on the Blank," "Do the Strangle" and their exceptional version of the Velvet Underground's "Waiting for My Man," which could easily be mistaken for an original. More than 30 years since their debut, the Action's music still drips raw and intoxicating energy that brings as much nostalgia to the listener as it does a thirst for new blood.

Some promo copies have a black and white group photo pasted on one side of a generic Montreco sleeve.
