This U.S. Amy pressing contains the original explicit lyric version of ‘1-2-5’. The third verse was considered too explicit and The Haunted returned to the studio to record a replacement lyric for the Canadian Quality release. Al Birmingham confirmed that the explicit version was released in the United States on Amy Records, while the Canadian Quality single contains the revised lyric.

The Amy pressing also differs sonically from the Canadian Quality pressing, with more prominent harmonica and other differences in the mix. [I would keep the existing “less organ” statement only if we have independently confirmed that by comparing the two recordings; none of Al’s new information establishes that point.]

The U.S. release uses the title ‘Eight O’Clock This Morning’.
