A CONTINUAL RISE TO STARDOM:
Every story of success needs a beginning and JERRY PALMER's began when he was discovered by Artist-Manager and songwriter Don Grashey, while guest starring with Brenda Lee at the Fort William Gardens and had little more than a short two years ago. Jerry had just turned sixteen and had done some very successful guest appearances with such other great names as Bobby Vee, Gene Vincent, Carl Dobkins Jr., Johnny and the Hurricanes and Bob Beckham to name a few. Don's knack for picking talent is well known across Canada and U.S.A. to date as the list of top stars he discovered with Lorraine and Buddy De Val and got started on their first big record hits built from such 45 RPM as "ARE YOU MINE". In 1960 he discovered Loretta Lynn in the hill town of Custer, Washington, recorded her on her first two hits on their own label "ZERO" A ROCKY MOUNTAIN RECORD LABEL and today Loretta is acclaimed top country and western female singer by all the trade magazines and now a big star of the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville, Tennessee. JERRY PALMER is bound to catch up to Don Grashey and be next to join his long list of winners and super stars. You will note the list of JERRY's well-selling records from "TRAVELLIN' SHOES", "COME ALONG WITH ME", "MAKING LOVE", "SILHOUETTE" and "SHADOW OF LOVE" and others. Jerry has also published a most exciting new hit song of "SWEET LORETTA" which is one of his many fans top favourites.
As a performer, this young man is ranked among the best in the business today and his stage presentations and club appearances has kept his fan on perpetual applause throughout the 1964 to 1967 era.
Now with this album, JERRY PALMER proudly comes out with a string of his best recordings in one package and hopes that his many Fans will shout in thunderous applause of approval from the East to the West Coast and in the far North of this big Dominion of ours. The cover photo shows Jerry at work before the microphone on one of the many master tape sessions that have resulted in this album. This is the Jerry Palmer's first Album release and in it you'll find all his hits which step by step have made up his Continual Rise To Stardom.
