About This Title

This was an all female-metal band from Canada. They formed during November of 1993, under the name MISTRUST. The creators of Mistrust were Annie, the drummer and Stephanie, the vocalist (ex-Burninflesh). After going through difficulties finding others to play the style of music they enjoyed, Stephanie decided to take on the task of playing bass. When they met with Vero, the guitarist, they also changed the name of the band to NOVEMBER GRIEF, according to the band, this name fit the music better. By the end of November of 1994 they recorded a demo called Evil-ution on a 16-track. They played several shows in Quebec. A few years later, they broke up with some members still contributing to the music scene.
