Side A has two Northwest Territories inspired tracks, from an EP of all-original material by Bob Ruzicka. The first track is about Aklavik, Northwest Territories, which is located on the west side of the Mackenzie Delta, 1.6 degrees above the Arctic Circle. The Mackenzie Delta is Canada's largest fresh water delta, a place rich in cultural and historical diversity. It is the home of Inuvialuit, Metis, Gwich'in and non-aboriginal cultures. Whitefish Station, Northwest Territories is on the Arctic Ocean just west of Tuktoyaktuk.
