Guidonna Lee Terzi Dugan was born April 18, 1947, in Calgary, to Guido and Mathilde (Maiden name Schultz) Terzi, and was the youngest of three children. She was born to sing, and at a young age, won the Calgary Kiwanis Music Festival’s coveted Rose Bowl. In 1970 she received her Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance from the University of Calgary. Guidonna recorded her own LP in 1980 entitled “Lessons of Love” as Guidonna Lee. She later finished her Master’s Degree in Musical Composition at the University of Calgary in 2012.

While music filled her soul, her family filled her heart, and she nourished people around her with love, faith, and music. She married James Dugan on December 19, 1987, and they raised 3 sons shortly after.

Guidonna Lee Terzi Dugan passed away at the age of 76, passed away after a 16-month battle with cancer, on the evening of Thursday, July 27, 2023, at the Intercare Chinook Hospice in Calgary.
