Leon Cook

Biography

Leon Cook is known to few outside of a specific sub-set of Canadian jazz fans. Playing guitar in Oscar Peterson's band. Additionally played with Clark Terry, Sonny Stitt, Hank Marr, and organists Richard "Groove" Holmes, Jack McDuff and Jimmy McGriff. His lone solo LP is a fantastic Curtis Mayfield-esque experience.
