May Run were a Saskatoon, Saskatchewan pop-rock band active during the late 1980s and early 1990s. Led by singer and songwriter Steve Chivilo, the group also included guitarist Chris Hammel, bassist Greg McLean and drummer Glenn Nowoselski, with additional contributions from keyboardists Rob Preuss and Grant Sotnikow.

May Run first gained wider exposure through C95’s Cityworks local-talent project, contributing ‘(A Little) More Than This’ to the 1988 Regina–Saskatoon compilation and returning in 1991 with ‘Be My Girl’. Their independently released album Days Into Years brought together songs written between 1988 and 1991, recorded at Creative House Studios in Saskatoon and Metalworks Studios in Mississauga. The album reflects the polished melodic rock, pop-rock and AOR sound that defined the band’s work.
