Sally Dee

Singing for audiences both large and small, preparing L.P.'s all have a professional ring to them and one immediately conjures up thoughts of big name stars and bright city lights.

But success always starts small, many with just a song or two and a big dream in their hearts.

An example of this is a young singer who already has two singles to her credit and her name and style are fast becoming familar sounds.

Sally was born and raised in Truro, Nova Scotia, where she followed a musical career, later moving west and settling on a farm near Calgary as a farm wife and mother of five.

Also featured on this album is a fine organist, Lorene Frere, and together they have become a well known duo through Central and Southern Alberta as Sally and Lorene.

The songs on this album reflect both the Country and City sounds of Sally Dee.

Well known writers such as Ray Griff and Cal Cavendish have contributed to the versatility of this album.

You’ve enjoyed reading about, and now I’m sure you’re going to enjoy listening to her.
Sincerely
Betty Kilgour
