The first version of Moonstruck was a cover band. The line-up of Tucker, Wallingham and Iceton recorded self-titled album in 1976 and released it on the band's own "Lunatunes" label. Tony Murphy played piano on two tracks. This version of the band did mostly original music when playing live.
