Ixtlan Records was a small Canadian independent label founded in Toronto, Ontario on April 1, 1976 by Ron Baumber and Dana Boone. The label issued a short run of southern Ontario rock, psych-folk, country-rock, and singer-songwriter releases in the mid-to-late 1970s, with connections running through Toronto, Hamilton, and the wider southwestern Ontario music scene. Baumber was the labelβs central artist, launching the imprint with his 1976 album China Doll and several related singles, while the catalogue also included releases by his long-time friend Peter Mathieson, as well as Melissa Pedersen, Falcon, and Tony Quarrington.
