Information/Write-up

Liner notes
Dick Damron is an artist whose songs and stage manner can be described as highly “believable” in that his songs denote honest interpretations of his experiences and thoughts, and that he makes audiences feel very much involved in his performances. Dick has had five Canadian Country hits recorded by himself and people like Hank Smith and George Hamilton IV. It was the tune “Countryfied” that led to his establishment as an important songwriter and country artist. He has appeared from coast to coast in hundreds of personal appearances and on television, and has been twice winner of the BMI Certificate of Honour for outstanding contribution to Canadian Music. One of Canada’s top songwriter awards. With a tour of West Germany behind him (1973) and a nomination for Country Artist of The Year 1974 as well as an appearance at Expo ’74 in Spokane, Washington, things look mighty good for the times to come.
