From the West Coast, Hudson Carr Poole makes its broadcast recording debut with four songs that are bound to please. Dave Hudson, Warren Carr, and Gary Poole began several years ago with a strong folk style, writing songs and performing in coffee houses and theatres in the Vancouver area. When they first heard Marilyn Jarvis sing in a local coffee-house, days passed until the three could be brought back to earth! Listen to Marilyn’s warm style in For Today, one of our favorites, and you’ll know why.

The main creative force comes from Gary Poole, whose sensitive lyrics combine with rich melodies and rhythm in such songs as Leave It All Behind and You’re My Reason. Together, with the talents of Warren (on bass) and Dave (on guitar and vocals), the four make up a close-knit, friendly group. Listen and enjoy.
