Canadian violinist Marsh has been a regular sideman for musicians such as Bruce Cockburn and Loreena McKennitt. On this, the first of his two 1980s solo albums, he is joined by Cockburn on one song ("La Carezza"), as well as a selection of other fine musicians. An all-instrumental outing, it is a very polished production, and Marsh's playing is exemplary throughout. Fergus Marsh (the last name is not coincidental) guests on the aptly titled "My Brother," playing the then-new Chapman Stick.
