Released in 1969 on 6th Avenue Records, the companion imprint to Al Reusch’s Aragon Recording Studios, this single is among the rarer garage-psych titles in the catalog. Little is known of the artist Montgomery beyond this release, which adds to its mystique. 6th Avenue served as a chronicle of Vancouver’s late-1960s music scene, issuing records by Sy Risby, Alan Moberg, The Canucks Ltd., Patti MacDonnell, Joe Bradley, and others.
