'On Nature's Edge' is an Alberta Recording Industry Award winning album. Many of the songs can be described as being somewhat political in nature.

At age eleven, Jim received his first guitar and immediately began writing songs and guitar instrumentals. His life long musical journey has seen him perform at festivals such as the Edmonton Folk Festival, the Edmonton Fringe Festival, the Works, the North Country Fair and at music venues such as the Nickelodeon, The Full Moon Folk Club and Festival Place. His music has been extensively profiled on CBC Radio and CKUA. The journey continues.
