Canadian Juno Award recipient and nominee. Vocalist, songwriter, producer, guitarist, harmonica and kazoo player. A Yorkville legend and Canadian music Icon. 1st album on Mainstream Records USA ‘A Spoonful of Cathy Young’ was Billboard Magazine’s ‘Pick of the Week’. Cathy received a Juno Award for Best New Artist and was a Juno Nominee the following year for Best Female Artist for her 2nd album ‘Travel Stained’ on GRT Records. She has toured Asia, Europe, Cyprus, Australia, Hawaii, England, Continental USA & the Caribbean. Hometown is Toronto Canada. Cathy’s focus is developing talent and Mentoring the talented/challenged youths of today who will become our future. Re-issued on Big Pink (Korea) in 2009.
