You hold in your hands Q107’s Homegrown Album Volume Two, a compilation of twelve songs performed by Toronto area musicians. Once again, this year, the album is an indication of the fine quality of music originating out of our city; it’s an album to be proud of. To narrow the album down to twelve from the over two hundred tapes received was indeed a difficult task; however, we believe that what you have here is the cream of the crop.
I would like to thank all those who donated their time, energy and interest to this project, especially all the musicians who entered, as well as your friends and mine here at Q107.
