Juliet Caroline Belmas was bass player for Vancouver punk band No Exit before being arrested as a member of the Anarchist urban guerilla group Direct Action, also called The Squamish Five and was sentenced to 15 years in prison for her actions. She got out after 7 years and studied at the Emily Carr Institute of Art and Design and produced some films as well as worked on photography for many movies filmed in Canada.
