Information/Write-up

British Columbia, covering roughly 365,000 square miles and stretching 750 miles in length and 450 miles in width, is unmatched in its wealth of natural resources and the grandeur of its mountains, valleys, and rugged landscapes. Its two great rivers—the Thompson and the Fraser—cut across much of the province before reaching the Pacific Ocean.

This album is a musical tribute to the province by writer-composer Weeley Wright, a native of B.C., who brings together fact, humour, and regional storytelling across nearly forty minutes of music. The eighteen songs are performed by Terry Kristy and Eugene Robert, with Wright adding his own “folksy” vocal interludes. Instrumental backing is provided by the Wee Kenders Quartet.
