Notes
Following the outstanding success of her first adult-contemporary single on Tiam Records, Tia Hofgraff hits the airwaves again with a dynamic new ballad — “Forget Me Not” — suitable for almost all radio stations, including those with pop, adult contemporary, M.O.R., and country crossover formats.
“Forget Me Not” was written by Tia and Doug Cameron (“Mona and the Children,” “Don’t Tell Me,” and “One Moment of Love”), and was her previous release, “The Right Time,” which was a major success across Canada, generating airplay on over 150 radio stations nationwide. This latest offering was produced by award-winning producer Mike Francis and recorded at McClear Place in Toronto, with warp parrot handling engineering chores.
Tia’s talents extend beyond the singer/songwriter boundaries. She has performed extensively in live theatre, appeared on T.V. shows such as The Tommy Hunter Show with Johnny Cash and June Carter, The Family Brown Show, Global T.V., Live in London, Ontario’s Country Roads show, as well as singing the Canadian and American national anthems at several Toronto Blue Jays baseball games.
Tia is currently writing for her forthcoming album, recording commercials for several jingles and preparing for club, convention, and fair dates with her new band. She also spends a great deal of time travelling throughout Southern Ontario doing interviews, visiting radio stations, meeting as many programmers as possible.
This talented young lady is only beginning to break into the many facets of the entertainment industry. She’s off to an extraordinary start and the future looks very bright indeed. “Forget Me Not,” she says, “there won’t be many who will forget Tia Hofgraff after hearing this single.”
