Liner notes
This album, is the result of long hours of practice and ambition. You could call this an ambitious album. Chuck Joyce, twenty-one years old is a professional fiddle player with more experience than a lot of older people who play at the fiddle. Chuck started his “fiddlin’ around” when he was nine years old, and was urged on and inspired by his Dad, the inspiration proved to be the key. If you would like facts and figures read on ... Canadian Junior Fiddle Champion Shelburne 1966 and 67, Ontario Champion at Orillia 1968, Ontario Novelty Champion at Orillia 1968 and 69, Southwestern Ontario Champion at Petrolia 1970 and 71.

Those are just the facts and they in themselves are impressive. BUT there’s more. He’s toured on many Country shows, a few of which I have been a part, he’s been on Radio, TV and has assisted Graham Townsend on many of Graham’s recent LP’s.

When I started this little background on Chuck I thought that I wouldn’t have enough to write about. I was wrong, there’s not enough space back here. So I hope I’ve given you an insight into a young personable man with a talent for music a lot of people wished they had. OK I’ve had my say, don’t just stand there reading this cover. BUY IT, the proof of what I write is in the grooves.
